Officials say a man carrying a rifle killed four people at a New York City office tower. The shooting took place Monday afternoon at a midtown Manhattan office building that houses finance companies and the NFL headquarters.

Four people were killed, including a police officer, and one other person was was in critcal condition in a shooting in midtown Manhattan on July 28.

The New York City police officer killed in Monday’s mass shooting at a Midtown office building has been identified by officials as Didarul Islam, a 36-year-old immigrant from Bangladesh and father of two.
