The North Londoners would have to match an impressive feat to win the title, one only achieved by themselves and Manchester United in Premier League history. The only two teams to overhaul a points deficit of seven or more after the league leaders have played 24 games are Arsenal in 1998 and United in 1996.

Mohamed Salah scored twice to take Liverpool nine points clear at the top of the Premier League by beating Bournemouth 2-0 on Saturday, while third-placed Nottingham Forest smashed Brighton 7-0.
