Owen Tippett and Matvei Michkov scored in the shootout, Bobby Brink had two goals and the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-3.

Ryan Poehling had a goal and an assist, Olle Lycksell had two assists for Philadelphia (28-31-8), and Owen Tippett scored the winner in the fifth round of the shootout. Samuel Ersson had 17 saves through overtime and made four saves in the shootout.

The Flyers showed some spunk on Thursday. Taking on the Stanley Cup playoff-bound Tampa Bay Lightning during Pearl Jam night at the Wells Fargo Center, the game had an even flow and the Flyers battled back more than once to tie things up.
