Former Costa Rican President and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Óscar Arias says he has had his visa to enter the United States revoked.

According to KSU President Todd Diacon, the university 'was not given advanced notice nor specific reasons for these decisions.'

The revocation for students at UC comes as a handful of students at universities across the country have had their visas revoked.

The university did not release details about the student or why the visa was revoked. Kid Rock has revealed that comedian Bill Maher’s “mind was blown” after his White House sit down with President Donald Trump.

Neither university has identified the students who lost their visas, said what countries they are from, or revealed whether federal officials provided any explanation.

Ten international students have had their visas revoked by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security across Colorado universities. The University of Colorado released a statement confirming that F-1 visas issued to four international students on its Boulder and Colorado Springs campuses were revoked.

Due to the termination, both students made the decision to leave the United States and head back to their home countries.
