Both The Batman and The Penguin are streaming now on HBO Max. Part II is currently expected to arrive in theaters on October 1st, 2027 so it's not on the 2025 or 2026 movie release list. We'll just have to wait and re-watch the previous two projects.

The most recent update on The Batman 2 is that the script is complete and with DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn. Beyond that, updates have been scarce on this project, which is one of the most highly anticipated upcoming DC movies.

The Penguin season 2 is "definitely possible" but nothing is certain. The Batman spinoff series - which starred Colin Farrell as the titular villain - was a success for HBO and fans have been calling for another run of episodes,
