The Twins announced Tuesday that Zoll, 34, would become the seventh general manager in team history, replacing Thad Levine, who held the role from 2016 until this offseason.

Only 34 years old, Jeremy Zoll has worked his way up the organizational ranks since coming to the Twins in 2018.

The Twins’ front office leadership has preferred to spread around the responsibility when it comes to decision-making and negotiations, with president of baseball operations Derek Falvey empowering his group to leverage their strengths and relationships around the sport.

Derek Falvey will lead both the Twins’ baseball and business operations, and Jeremy Zoll will become the team’s new general manager.
