Indonesian authorities arrested an American former college basketball player for allegedly attempting to smuggle THC candies into the country. The player, 34-year old Jarred Shaw, was charged with drug smuggling.

Former NCAA basketball player Jarred Shaw, 34, was arrested in Indonesia after allegedly ordering THC candies from Thailand, and could face the death penalty.

The Indonesian Basketball League has banned him for life, and his team, the Tangerang Hawks, has terminated his contract.
