Tensions have escalated between the two nuclear powers following Tuesday’s attack on tourists in Indian Kashmir.

Kashmiri students in India have reported harassment and threats after a deadly attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. The incident, which killed 26 people, sparked anger in parts of India. Many students were forced to leave hostels and apartments in states like Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri briefed ambassadors from various countries, including G20 members, on the Pahalgam terror attack. In response, India has suspended visa services for Pakistani nationals,
