One person has died following a house fire Monday on Whitney Street in Hartford, according to the fire chief.

Multiple other people, including a firefighter, were injured when crews responded to a home at 45 Fenwick St. on Saturday at 1:48 p.m. and found heavy fire on the rear porches that extended to the third floor, according to the Hartford Fire Department. The fire also extended to a home next door.
