Swedish climate and human rights activist Greta Thunberg was among hundreds deported by Israel after being jailed for trying to deliver aid to Gaza.

Greta Thunberg has accused Israeli authorities of mistreatment after being detained during a humanitarian flotilla attempting to reach Gaza.

In a statement shared Sunday on X, an Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesperson said all detainees’ "legal rights were fully upheld."
