FIRST ALERT ACTION DAY today due to threat of significant snowfall
(KFVS) - We are issuing a First Alert Action Day for the threat of significant snowfall today. A winter storm warning is in effect for all of the Heartland through midnight tonight. Temperatures will remain around freezing until the snow begins to fall when readings will fall into the middle to upper 20s.

Snow continues through tonight. Current data has a 1 to 4 inch snow area wide by tomorrow morning. Tomorrow will be blustery in some towns with a west wind at 10-20 mph.
