Barbie Hsu’s husband, DJ Koo, has broken his silence as he grieves his wife's untimely death. The South Korean rapper and former member of dance duo Clon posted a statement on Instagram in both Chinese and Korean. “My angel went back to heaven on February 2, 2025,” DJ Koo, whose real name is Koo Jun Yup said, according to a translation.

DJ Koo took to Instagram and shared a meaningful message surrounding the wealth left by his wife, Barbie Hsu. In an IG post on Feb. 6, the DJ, continued to mourn.

South Korean musician DJ Koo’s remark about people “pretending to mourn while walking in the rain” is widely seen as a jab at his late wife Barbie Hsu’s ex-husband, Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei.
