Blackstock passed away at the age of 48 after a three-year battle with cancer, with his obituary now revealing new details about his life.

A source alleges that Brittney Marie Jones had an affair with the music executive, which her now-ex-husband, Greg LaPoint, found out about in the summer of 2023. “He got screwed over due to [Jones and Blackstock’s] fling starting during his marriage,” the insider claims.

Prior to his relationship with Clarkson, Blackstock was married to Melissa Ashworth from 1999 to 2012. The former couple shared daughter Savannah Blackstock, 23, and son Seth Blackstock, 18.
