Los Cabos' cities will be getting new downtown makeovers, but Baja-bound travelers won't need to go that far for authentic regional tacos.

Tropical moisture from Priscilla will bring rain and flash flood risk to Southern California starting Thursday with storms lingering into Saturday.

A tropical storm watch was issued for Baja California Sur from Cabo San Lucas to Cabo San Lazaro, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said.

Hurricane Priscilla has strengthened to a Category 2 storm and is expected to become a major hurricane later Tuesday as it swirls off the Pacific coast of Mexico.
