The Baseball Hall of Fame is welcoming two new members, nine-time All Star and three-time Gold Glove winner Carlos Beltran as well as Andruw Jones who won 10 consecutive Gold Glove awards and was elected into the Hall after nine years on the ballot.
Beltrán, whose power and grace produced 435 home runs and three Gold Glove awards across a 20-year career, is expected to earn election to baseball's Hall of Fame ballot Jan. 21. It would mark the culmination of a steady climb that began when he received just 46.5% of the vote in his first appearance, far shy of the 75% required for induction.
