The DOJ says “rogue judges” just can’t stand the “outstanding work” of Trump’s former attorney as New Jersey’s top federal prosecutor.

The DOJ has said Grace was removed as the U.S. attorney for the District of New Jersey hours after she was chosen over Habba.

Desiree Lee Grace was appointed by New Jersey district court judges to replace Trump’s former personal attorney, Alina Habba, who reportedly lacks the votes to be formally confirmed by the Senate as the U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey.

The state's district judges voted to replace Alina Habba with her top assistant, who was ousted by the Justice Department hours later.
